Chinese Academy of Sciences International Symposium on Computational Medicine was held in CASIA

Sponsored by the Bureau of Personnel and Education of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, International Symposium on Computational Medicine was held in the Lecture Hall of CASIA on 20th to 21st of November. There were over 80 delegates from 9 countries and regions presenting at the symposium.

 Prof. Tieniu Tan from CAS and CASIA's deputy president Mr. Lin He delivered speeches at the opening ceremony on the 20th. Ms. Shuyu Zhao from the Bureau of Personnel and Education of CAS, Director of Human Resouces Mr. Zizheng Fang and Director of R & D Department Prof. Wenshen Zhang also prensented the opening ceremony. 

 The International Symposium on Computational Medicine is one of the frontier forums of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The symposium of this year will focus on the advances of neural circuits and brain networks based on brain imaging techniques (MRI, Diffusion MRI, fMRI, fNIRS, EEG/MEG) and their applications to brain disorders. All speakers of this symposium are the active experts in this field and are invited only.
